An Engineer,
Not a Politician.

Here to find real solutions
and invest in our future.

Michael Masuda grew up in Amador County and studied electrical engineering at Cal Poly, where he met his wife, Brittany. They later moved to Washington, D.C., where Michael worked on defense technology to help protect U.S. troops and supported American diplomacy abroad. During the pandemic, they settled down as a young family, raising two kids and a rescue dog named Luna. His values—shaped by small-town roots, marriage, and public service—center on personal freedom, strong communities, and treating people with respect. As an engineer, he’s focused on solving real problems—like reducing wildfire risk, making healthcare more affordable, supporting good schools, and ensuring people can earn a decent living.
