Masuda For Congress Statement on Helicopter Crash in Yosemite

"My deepest condolences go out to the families and loved ones of the two heroic pilots who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash while fighting the Dome Fire north of Wawona.

This devastating loss is a painful reminder of the incredible dangers our wildland firefighters face every single day to protect our communities and public lands. They are the line between safety and disaster.

Please keep the families of both pilots, their colleagues at Precision Helicopters, and the entire wildland fire community in your thoughts."
